Signposts From the Subconscious
Tarot and Tea Leaves might seem like pretty strange traveling companions. But they can provide very powerful guidance, pointing you in the direction that you really need to go.
Tarot relies on universal symbols and archetypes. Each of the 78 cards in the deck acts something like a postcard, highlighting points-of-interest on the journey of life. Twenty-two Major Arcana cards represent notable milestones, while the remaining fifty-six cards of the Minor Arcana illustrate more personal, everyday concerns through their four suits (Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles). Used together, Tarot cards can be read just like a guidebook, filling in blank spots on the map.
Tasseography, or tea leaf reading, is an age-old method of interpreting the patterns and positions of the leaves remaining in the bottom of a cup of tea. The leaves create shapes and symbols, offering gentle insights -- sort of like asking directions from a trusted friend over a cozy cuppa.
Symbols are the language of the subconscious; they're how we navigate a vast and diverse world, regardless of culture or background. They're the road-signs of life, showing up to get your attention and direct you to your destination by the best possible route.
